Here is an excellent shot from the previously mentioned photoshoot. Ok so it isnt excellent. But it IS a shot of my forehead playing poker with TJ Cloutier. My forehead has build up an excellent stack too, huh?

I'm sitting at The Lodge, and it is closed. Was supposed to have a meeting today with Dan Michalski of Pokerati.com and Karridy Askenay of True Texas Poker. Somehow, this has been changed, and it is not only our meeting, but also an impromptu photo shoot with TJ Cloutier for his new book.
I never realized how tall TJ is in person. He is a big guy. He is very personable and seems to joke a lot, in spite of his reputation as a serious guy. I like him already.

Played poker live with TJ for about 25 minutes. It was very informative, as he was full of constructive criticism and tips. Great experience.

I found these "jokes" the other day poking around through "My Documents". I think I showed them to a few people, who thought they were ok, and then I forgot about them. Here they are, in all their ... glory?
1.) Phil Hellmuth recently won $500,000 in the National Heads Up Poker Challenge. After the event, Phil bought more than a dozen bottles of expensive champagne for the crowd. The following day on Phil's website, www.PhilHellmuth.com, Phil announced he is changing his professional name to "Phil Diddy". When pressed for comment, Phil replied "I'm just keepin it real, dog".
2.) Mike Mizrachi recently won the main event at the LA Poker Classic, and the $1.8 million first prize. "The Grinder" is not the only poker player in the family, he has two brothers who play professionally, Rob and Eric, or "The Hero" and "The Hoagie".
